Volunteer Title: Reader |

Location(s): Berea, Berea Primary Care
Clinic, McKee, Richmond, Irvine |
|
|
|
Duties: Read to younger patients in our
clinic lobby. Volunteers will be expected to approach the children
and parents and encourage them to participate. Books will be provided,
but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own. |
|
|
|
Qualifications: Good interpersonal skills. No criminal
record. |
|
|
|
Time Required: Minimum of 2 hours per
month |
|
|
|
Days/Time Needed: 8:30 a.m. to 7:00
p.m. Mon.-Fri.; 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Sat.; Primarily later in the
afternoon and Saturdays (Summer need varies; Contact the Clinic Manager
for more specific details). |

|
Benefits: Participation in our Reach Out & Read efforts to improve
reading skills among our younger patients. |
